Discover Santiago de Compostela

Ciudad de Compostela

Hotel Ciudad de Compostela is located between the historic centre of Santiago, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and the City of Culture, famous for its contemporary architecture. It is also close to the San Pedro neighbourhood, with its great atmosphere and many places to eat.

Thanks to its location, you can easily continue the last part of the Camino Francés through the Rua de San Pedro, a street that has served as the entrance to the city for pilgrims for centuries.

City of Culture

This architectural complex is the work of Peter Eisenman, with several buildings dedicated to culture and entertainment. In the central motif, the architect chose to emulate the shape of the scallop, a traditional symbol of the city.
The renowned contemporary architect John Hejduk also left us his legacy with two towers in the Gaiás complex, as well as the A Trisca Sociocultural Centre, just five minutes from the hotel.
