Discover Santiago de Compostela

Alameda Rooms Santiago

Alameda Rooms Santiago is located between the Cathedral and the famous Alameda Park in Santiago de Compostela, a World Heritage City since 1985. Although central, it is also away from the hustle and bustle, so you can visit all the iconic sites without sacrificing peace and quiet.

Historic centre

Be amazed as you stroll through the cobbled streets of the historic centre, discovering spectacular monuments such as the Hostal dos Reis Católicos, the Convent of San Agustín, the Palace of Fonseca, the Convent of San Domingos de Bonaval and, of course, the Praza do Obradoiro and its majestic cathedral, impressive from every perspective.

Mercado de Abastos

At the Mercado de Abastos, you can sample the most traditional Galician dishes prepared according to the original recipes, including octopus à feira, tarta de Santiago, padrón peppers, all accompanied by a fine wine from one of Galicia’s designations of origin.

Green areas

The parks and green spaces are the best places to sit back and observe the city. The most famous are Alameda Park, San Domingos de Bonaval, Belvís and Carballeira de San Lourenzo. They offer some of the most spectacular sunsets after a day of sightseeing.
